Develop a creative concept for a leading player in the construction sector to support the launch of a new 5-year business vision and strategy programme. Additionally, we were tasked with organising and delivering the conference at which this strategy programme would be launched.

Develop a creative concept for a leading player in the construction sector to support the launch of a new 5-year business vision and strategy programme. Additionally, we were tasked with organising and delivering the conference at which this strategy programme would be launched.
THE SOLUTION
Following the initial written brief from the client, we held a discovery call which enabled us to ‘get behind the brief’ by understanding their business values, operational structure, key market sectors and their staff demographic. They also shared with us their ambition to implement the necessary change that will drive the future growth and development of their business.
It became clear that this was not just a theme for a conference but actually the creative foundation on which to develop and communicate the whole 5-year business strategy. Our creative concept therefore had to be able to stand the test of time and allow flexibility to support a wide-ranging strategy that would encompass all areas of the client’s business.
We explored many possible ideas and concepts but the theme of “Expedition” rose to the top of the list in our evolving team discussions and this led to the creation of a logo concept and supporting visuals to enable us to bring the theme to life.
Presented with a strong supporting rationale, our concept was accepted and we then began the process of developing the launch event, building on the Expedition theme, we supported the client in the development of the programme content and messaging, including developing an entirely bespoke expedition-themed team building programme and a gala dinner and awards programme for the conference.
The conference was an outstanding success, but the journey has just begun and our task now is to assist our client by evolving our initial creative concept so that it continues to supports the business strategy as it develops in the coming months and years as the business embarks on new challenges to achieve its 5-year vision.
